Refresh your creative space the sustainable way. Bring gently used art supplies and swap them for something new-to-you. From paints and sketchbooks to brushes, fabric, markers, tools, and creative odds and ends. Come share resources, trade materials, and give supplies a second life as part of our Sustainability Series. Help reduce waste while supporting creativity in the community.

How it works:
• Clean out your studio, desk, or supply closet for gently used creative materials
• Make sure items are usable and ready for a new home
• Bring them to the swap
• Browse and take home whatever inspires you

Flour Power, presented by Gene Chávez, shares family tortilla-making traditions alongside stories about the history of Mexican residents settling in Kansas to work, raise families, and build community. Chávez draws on his personal heritage and research to bring an important cultural food tradition to life. He is a collector of Mexican American heritage in Kansas and consults on diversity issues as president of Chávez and Associates. This event is FREE and a reservation is required.
